Picnic Terms & Conditions

Memories With KxS reserves the the right to change, amend and modify on any parts of the policies and packages.


Bookings

Booking is best made 2 weeks in advance. We do accept last minute bookings subjected to availability. Booking in advance prevent any delays for the setup and encourage a smooth transaction with our customers.


Booking Hours

There is a maximum of 4 hours booking. Any less will still be charged at the same price.

Subsequent hours will be charged at $10/hr. Midnight hours at 0000hrs-0900hrs will be charged at $40/hr.

*If you do require prior preparation for the event, do kindly inform us as it will be subjected to availability since we are on schedule.


Public Holidays

Public Holidays are an additional cost of $15 to your booking. Kindly book in advance to secure your dates before our slots are filled.

Since it is indeed the holidays, most of the picnic venues or preferred locations would be packed. We can only try our best to prepare the setup beforehand to ensure that our customers get a good spot.


Booking Venues

We provide home-based setups & we seek for your kind cooperation in being flexible in regards to setup timings on the event day. Changing of our schedule for home setups may incur additional charges.

Venue options: East Coast Park & Bay East Garden.

Picnics at Bay East Garden are being resumed with an additional $10 permit fee and subjected to their availability.

Sentosa beaches are only allowed if you provide a proof of approval from their management and will be charged a venue surcharge of $30 additional.

In case of wet weather forecast, we seek for your kind understanding in being flexible in any case there is a need to change your preferred location to ensure your event goes on.

We reserve the right to change your venue under any certain circumstances before or on the event day itself to ensure the event goes on smoothly.

For venues that are not listed in our booking forms (hotels, venue space etc.), there will be additional charges incurred subjected to our availability.


Number of Pax

Subsequent pax are charged at $10 each. Children at the age of 5 and above is considered as 1 pax.

For packages that fit up to the stated number of pax, no refunds or cost difference would be granted if you request for lesser number of pax.

Subsequent pax costs includes space, pallet table and tablewares.


Themed Picnics

Our colour schemes setups are not as accurate as shown due to a lot of improv on site. Requests for customisations depends on what theme our customers are going for.

We are able to cater to a themed picnic including its add-ons; considering it as a whole new package. We will still make use of our own logistics & colour schemes best matched for your preferred theme.

Should there be balloons included as your add-ons, kindly note that we do our best to ensure it is displayed safely. We are not responsible for any missing balloons or burst balloons as well as missing hanged portraits throughout the event due to nature since most setups are held outdoors. We do not provide refunds for any balloon mishaps.


Food/Meal Arrangements

You are allowed to bring your own food.

*We are not responsible for any form of arrangement/delivery for your own food purchase consumed on our picnic setup.


Wet Weather Program

For clients who decide to carry on with the event, we will delay your booking start time until your picnic setup is ready, subjected to our availability on the event day. We seek for your understanding in being flexible in any case there is a need to change your picnic spot/location as we do not cater for midway contingencies. We have the rights to shift your location if need be to ensure your safety throughout the event.

Your safety is still our utmost priority. Kindly seek for shelter if it pours. No refunds will be given in any circumstances.

Postponement Policy: We will allow clients to postpone their event to another date, subjected to our availability. Postponement can be done once only. As we do not allow a subsequent postpone of events after the first, we would advise for the postponed event to be held at under sheltered area where necessary and based on weather forecasts (commonly placed at East Coast Park Area F). Additional fees will be incurred to secure the postponement date.

*This is not applicable for Bay East Garden as there are sheltered areas held there.

Postponing of events should informed to us latest by 8am on the event day for us to act upon accordingly.

In the event that you carry on with the event, we will allow postponements if downpour continues for 1 hour after booking time starts. This is subjected to our availability that we are able to assist you on the time delays.


Payment

Our prices are inclusive of our delivery/setup service charges. Payment is to be made at least 2 weeks before the event to avoid late payment charges.

A non-refundable deposit of $50 can be made for bookings above $150 to reserve your dates. We will reserve your booking date upon receiving the receipt of payment made to us & that we have acknowledged the payment. Remaining payment is to be made at least 1 week before the event date. Otherwise, deposit will be forfeited.

We do not charge our clients any refundable deposits, however, we do appreciate if our items are being cared for and not damaged when we teardown the setup. Missing and damage charges will be implemented as a form of compensation in any case items are broken, torn, missing or burnt.


Cancellation/Postponement Policy

There should not be any cancellations once payment/deposit has been made. There are no refunds for cancellations. However, you will be given only one chance of postponing your booking & this should be made known to us best 1 week before the new preferred date unless wet weather is a concern nearing to the date. New dates are subjected to our availability.

*Deposits will be on hold within 6 months from your initial booking date. Any additional add-ons will be chargeable and reduction of package price (if amended) is non-refundable.

Venue permit fee will be chargeable where applicable.

Permit fee that has been paid for will be refunded in any case venue is not available for booking.


Any deposits or payments made to our organisation following up from the quotation or contract provided is considered an acknowledgement to our Terms & Conditions.
